29 all the zemindars of Suda Koonwur to his pre¬
30 sence. He bestowed degrees of honour upon them ;
31 and Shadeen, the son of Azeezoodeen, was ap¬
32 pointed governor of Wittala,
33 The first man of note in the Alloowalya Missul,
34 was Jussa Singh, who lived at the village of Mulnrn
35 Sadlioo, in the Manja country, by trade a kulai,
36 or distiller, of the Toolse tribe. This Jussa Singh
37 supported his father and mother, at the village of
38 Alloo, near Mulma Sadlioo; and he, his uncle,
39 and other relatives, became Sikhs and servants of
40 the Fyzoolapoorea. Kapoor Singh, the head of
41 this Missul, occasionally visited the village of Alloo,
