16 turned to Lahore, taking the fort of Narrainghuv ;
17 where Futteh Singh Kalawala, and several other
18 sirdars were killed. This fort was given to his
19 friend Futteh Singh Alioowaiya by the Mahaiajali,
20 and from whom he received a nuzurana of 8,000
21 rupees. From Goptah Singh, of Maneemajirah,
22 the Maharajah exacted 30,000 rupees; and from
23 the sirdars of Roopur, half that sum.
