2 One day Baha Nanuk was sitting at the village
3 of Toonga, and being thirsty he called on Boodha,
4 Boodha..
5 who was feeding his cows near the place, to bring
6 him some water in a vessel (lotah): Boodha re¬
7 plied, that " the water was at a great distance
8 but added, *' f if you will look after my cows, I will
9 bring you some,” Nanuk said," There is a tank ;
10 bring water from thence.” Boodha replied, " There
11 is certainly a tank near at hand, but it is dried up.”
12 Nanuk, pejoined " Go and see,” Boodha went
13 towards the tank, and to his surprise found it filled
14 with water, though ho had seen it dry in the
15 jporning! He filled the vessel and. brought it to
16 Nanuk; and from witnessing the miracle, Boodha
17 became a follower or disciple of Nanuk, who
18 bestowed his blessing on him. This may lived, in
19 the time of the GoorooS Urjun and Hur Govind.
20 The former requested him to point out the tank
21 from which he had taken the water, in order that
22 he might construct a new one ; which he did, and
23 called it Uviritsir , or the water of immortality..
24 Boodha had two sons, and lived at /the. village of
25 Ram Bass.
26 Another follower of Npmk, and his successor,
27 was named Lelina, of the Chuttree caste. This
28 Lehna was on his way to Jtwala Mookhee, a great
29 place of worship among the Hindoos, near Koto
30 Kangra. On the road he met Nannie, and from
31 his preaching became a convert and follower of the
