22 short distance south-east into the Arabian Sea. It forms the
23 western side of the bay, of which Ras Noo or Gwadel Point forms
24 the eastern. This bay, measuring about three leagues from east
25 to west, and the same distance from north to south, has regular
26 soundings of seven or eight fathoms at the entrance, and five or
27 six inside, with a mud bottom, and is sheltered from all winds,
28 except those blowing between east and south-south-west. Lat.
