7 cote to Shikarpoor, and fifteen miles east of the last-mentioned
8 town. The road in this part of the route lies through a low,
9 muddy, alluvial tract, extending along the right bank of the
10 Indus, overspread with jungle and intersected by watercourses.

12 MOTCH, in the Punjab, a village situate on the left bank of watker’s Map of

15 MOUJDURRIA, in Sinde, a ruined town ten miles east of E.1.C. Me. Doc. ;

19 MOURDALIE, in Sinde, a village on the route from Roree E.I.C. Ms. Doc.
20 to Jessulmair, and a hundred miles south-east of the former place.
21 It consists of a few shepherds’ huts, supplied with water from a
22 small muddy tank. The road for some distance in the direction
23 of Roree is heavy, winding among or over sand-hills. Towards
24 Jessulmair it is better, as it passes over a surface of hard clay.
25 Nothing available for the support of animal life can be obtained,
26 except alittle coarse grass. Lat. 27° 23’, long. 70° 30’.
27 MOUTNEE, in Sinde, is an offset on the left or eastern side Carless, Official
28 of the great Sata branch of the Indus. Though once a large fein 1; pumes?

35 MUCHNEE, in Afghanistan, a ferry over the Kabool river, Leech, Khyber
36 at the place where it enters the plain of Peshawur from the herd ae

38 wide, is crossed by those who take the Abkhana route, which lies Macartney, in
