112 Nort.—No Coffee is produced in the Bangalore and Chittledroog Divisions. A Madras Arm, Messrs. Parry
113 and Co., had the monopoly of Coffee produced in Mysore under the Rajah’s Government. This was abolish-
114 ed in 1987, and an Excise duty of Rupee 1 per Maund was fired upon the berry, This was first reduced to
115 8 Annas, and thon to 4 Annas, at which it now romains.
