12 As in previous years, the yield for every 100 cubic feet of
13 salt excavated was maintained at 135.maunds. The rate paid,.
14 104 pies per cubic foot, or Rs. 4-0-9°78 per 100 maunds, was.the
15 game as during 1895-96: The mimers.are believed to be well.
16 satisfied with this rate of payment, and there is no discontent:.

18 sales and deliveries of salt from the four depots of the Punjab.
19 Mines Division for the past four years, and (2) a classification.
