12 “* Whoever reads the Koran, whoever
13 reads the Puran, neither of them shall
14 escape death, and nothing but virtue
15 shall avail at last. Millions of men may
16 read the Kéran, they may read innu-
17 merable Purans; but it shall be of no
18 avail in the life to come, and the power
19 of destiny shall prevail over them.”
