ike silenced, agonising shrieks of the innocent children whose

heads have been bashed against walls, or the helpless young girl^

who have, before being consigned to the flames, been victims of

mass rapes, of the women who have immolated themselves and

their children to avoid being dishonoured and of the men who

•' were outnumbered in their brave defence, cry out for this as their

least demand.

Another reason for publishing this booklet is that the appeal

issued by Mahatma Gandhi and Quaid-i-Azam should sink into the

hearts of all men and for showing to the world that if this appeal is

not heeded such horrible crimes which have shocked every humane

being, will go uncondemned and the cowardly perpetrators will go

unpunished. This brochure is a warning to all criminals to cease

their criminal activities.
