2 judgment. The close supervision which Mr. Greig exercises over his
3 staff has the best effect, and has led in a great measure to the generally
4 successful operations of the vear. But until the forests are fully demar-
5 cated, with permanent boundaries, properly mapped and registered, no
6 amount of personal supervision will effectually preserve the forests, or
7 allow of that reproduction which is, in His Honor’s opinion, the main
8 object of forest conservancy.
