11 for Police administration. and exercises full jurisdiction within those por-
12 tions of land which are eempat or may be
13 hereafter occupied by the Bengal-Nagpur
14 Railway (including the land occupied as sta-
15 tions, out-buildings, and for other purposes
16 connected with the Railway) which lie within
17 the castern parts of the Feudatory State of
18 Gangpur aad the States of SeraikWla and
19 Khursowan :
20 In exercige of this jurisdiction, and of the powers
21 conferred by sections 4 and & of the Foreign
22 Jurisdiction and Extradition Act, 1879, and
23 of all other powers enabling him in this
24 behalf, the Governor General in Council is
25 pleased to issue the following Notification :—
26 (1) All laws for the time being in force in
27 the Kolhan of the Singhbhoom Dis-
28 trict shall be deemed to be in force in
29 the aforesaid land.
30 (2) All Courts having for the time being
31 jurisdiction within the Kolhan of the
32 Singhbhoom District shall exercise
33 the same jurisdiction within the afore-
34 said land.
35 (3) The administration of Police within
36 the aforesaid land shall be vested in the
37 District Superintendent or the officer
38 in charge of the District Police of
39 sil ee for the time being, who
40 ehall exercise within the aforesaid
41 land the same police powers as he may
42 exercise, for the time being, in the
43 Kolhan of the Singhbhvoom District,
44 in subordination to the same
45 authorities as he may be for the time
46 being subordinate to when exercising
47 those powers within the Kolhan of
48 the Singhbhoom District.
