8 Jalmdhur ; and the zemindars of this district, such
9 as Rao Ibrahim and others, paid them tribute and
10 placed themselves under their protection. They
11 also claimed lands on the left bank of the Sutlej.
12 They joined Hurree Singh and other Missuldars in
13 Making war on A limed Shah. There was another kbogshyai

15 Ivhdoshyal Singh belonging to this Missui, who
16 h om being short-sighted was distinguished by the
17 surname of Metoo. This man left a widow arid
18 kirdar, but no children. The other Khooshyal
19 Singh (Lama) had two sons, one named Boodh
20 Singh, and the other, Soodh Singh, who succeeded
21 their father as heads of the Fyzoolapoorea Missui,
22 They were constantly at war with the Alloowalya
23 Sudan When Soodh Singh died, he left a daughter
24 by his wife, the daughter of Lena Singh, Bhungee.
25 After his death, Boodh Singh was firmly estab¬
26 lished as the sirdar of the MissuL The Maha¬
27 rajah made war on him in 1811, and having
28 defeated Boodh Singh, the latter fled across the
29 Sutlej, where he died. His son Umrnur Singh
30 lived there after him. When the Fyzoolapoorea
31 Xiliah came into the posession of Runjeet Singh,
32 he gave the charge of it to Mooroodeen, the bro- N
33 ther of Azeezoodeen, and who remained four years
34 at Jaliudhur.
