4 place. It is situate on the right bank of a great offset of the
5 Indus. Lat. 27° 12’, long. 68° 6’.
6 MAHOMED AMROO, in Sinde, a village on the route from E.I.C. Ms. Doe.
7 Sehwan to Larkhana, and five miles south of the last-mentioned
8 town. The road in this part of the route lies over a level alluvial
9 country, in general waste, but having occasional spots of culti-
10 vation, and intersected by watercourses, rendering the passage
11 of wheel carriages difficult. Lat. 27° 26’, long. 68° 16’.

13 route from Hyderabad to Cutch, and thirty miles south-east of ae ead
14 the former place. It is situate on the bank of the Fulailee Commerce of Hy-
15 ‘ derabad, 17, 20.
16 branch of the Indus, and the neighbouring country, though near
17 the border of the desert, is fertile and well cultivated. It is one
18 of the most thriving places in Sinde, in consequence of its manu-
19 factures and of the transit trade from Cutch. During the Tal-
20 poor sway in Sinde, it was usually the residence of one of ‘the
