5 eastern extremity of the spit which landlocks the harbour of Kur-

8 MUNSOOR KAREEZ, in Afghanistan, a collection of ham- E.L¢. as. Doc. ;
9 lets on the route from Ghuznee to Shawl, and eighty-three miles Outram, Rough
10 south from the former place. It is situate in a barren country on Kennedy, Sings
11 the western shore of Lake Ab-istada, at the place where a small
12 river discharges itself. Lat. 32° 33’, long. 67° 50’.

14 situate on the right bank of the river Doree, twenty miles south of

22 MURRAIE, a river, or rather torrent, of Sinde, rises in the E.1.C. Ms. Doc.
23 Keertar range of mountains, lat. 25° 30’, long. 67° 45’, and after
24 a course of about twenty-five miles, generally in an easterly
25 direction, falls into the Dhurwal river, a feeder of the Indus.
26 The Murraie, where crossed by the route from Sehwan to
27 Kurrachee, has a wide sandy channel, often destitute of water,
28 which, however, can at all times be obtained from pits in the
29 bed.
30 MURRAIE MUKAM, in Sinde, a village on the route from E.1.0. Ms, Doc,
31 Sehwan to Kurrachee, and seventy-five miles south of the former
32 place. Water is procurable at all times from pits in the bed of
33 the Murraie river. The road in this part of the route is rather
34 good. Lat. 25° 30’, long. 67° 53’.
35 MURRA KHARRA, properly MURRA KHAIL, in Afghan- E.1.0. Ms. Doc,
36 istan, a village situate on the route by Kurkutcha, from Kabool
37 to Peshawur, and fifty-five miles east of the former city. Lat.
38 34° 19’, long. 69° 51’.
39 MURROW KOOSTUEK, in Beloochistan, a village in Cutch E.1¢. Ms. Doe,
40 Gundava, on the route from Poolajee to Deyrah, and thirty miles
41 east of the former place. It is situate close to the north-eastern
