22 is situate at the western base of the mountains, inclosing Kashmir
23 on the west. The surrounding country consists of parched, un-
24 cultivated plains, intersected at different distances by long, rocky,
25 barren ridges. Noushera is in lat. 34° 7’, long. 73° 7’.
