4 6. The Mysore Town Moonsiff has nearly identical power with that

7 originated within the limits of, the Town of Mysore.
8 7. The Bangalore Town Moonsiff, in addition to the powers of an
9 The Bangalore Amildar, has authority to decide, with a record of
10 Town Moonsiti proceedings, all suits for real property not exceed-
11 ing Rupees 500, and for personal property not exceeding Rupees 1,000,
12 and an appeal from his decisions lies direct to the Superintendent of the
13 Division, whereas in the case of the two former, the appeal lies enly to
14 the Sudder Moonsiff.
15 -8. A written decision has to be given in all cases, whether a sbi
16 of proceedings has been kept, or not.

18 jurisdiction and of Ist, ‘The Principal Sudder Moonsiffs’ Courts, and 2nd,

20 10, The Principal Sudder Moonsiffs; of whom there are two in .each

22 fee aooneill their decision in all such appeals being final, unless
23 in cases of landed property, or under circumstances of corruption or
24 gross partiality ; they also decide all original suits for real property above
25 Rupees 100 and not exceeding Rupees 1,000, and for personal property
26 above Rupees 100 and not exceeding Rupees 5,000.
27 11. All appeals from their decisions lie to the Superintendents of Di-
28 visions, or to the Huzoor Adawlut, at the option of the suitor.
29 12. The Moonsiffs keep a record of all proceedings, and seal, sign,
30 and deliver to both the plaintiff and defendant in a suit copies of the
31 decree issued in the case.
32 13. The Sudder Moonsiffs have, moreover, authority to try all cases
33 which may be referred to them by the Superintendents of their respec-
34 tive Divisions,
35 14. The Superintendents have authority to investigate all appeals
