; ‘ '
REVIEW BY SECTIONS, The reccipts were very large in 1892-93, but the hich price
Sena charged for Sambhar salt in the year just ended has diminished
them by about half. The expeniiture also hag fallen of from
Rs. 25,176 to Rs. 15,780. The clostne credit balance which is
brought forward annually has increased from Rs. 72,183 to
Rs. 80,349 (reduced to Rs. 70,198 after deducting the debit on
Pachbadra_ through-traffic transactions.) Difficulties stood in
the way of erecting during the ycar just ended a commoiious
iron shed out of this balance for storing through-traffic bags
in to protect them from the weather; but the plans and esti-
mates are ready, and it is hoped that the shed will be built and
in use before the end of the current year.

the lease. the prices at which Sambhar salt has soli at the lake since

at those ratesare maunds 11,17,519, maunds 4,95,980, and maunds
11,81,642: total maunds 27,95,141. The average price realized
for the whole year was 5-46 annas per maund against 2°67
