4 the end of June 1894 the balance of stock in hand amounted to Same

10 45. The next statement shows for each year’s salt that Results of clearances of '

12 the year. The net result is that 102 heaps were cleared during
13 the year with an aggregate deficit of 1°38 per cent. This is
14 very satisfactory. The heavy rains of 1893 caused consider-
15 «able wastage in the salt of 1891-92 which was cleared during |
16 the year now under report :—.
