4 Stocks and issues,
5 There is stilla large quantity of salt in store. The opening
6 balance was maunds 1,21,039; the sales were maunds 10,799,
7 maunds 4,201 of the instalment due to the Darbar from this
8 ‘salt source having been allowed to lapse; and the balance
9 remaining at the end of the year is maunds 1,10,240.
10 63. The subjoined summary displays as in previous years,
11 the financial results for the year of the lease from His High-
12 ness the Mahérdja of Jodhpur of the Didwana, Pachbadra and
13 Falodi salt sources. Article XI of the salt agreement, with the
14 Marwar Darbar provides that in the event of the total realiza-
15 tions from the sale of salt at these leased works exceeding in
16 any year the total charges properly debitable against the same,
17 one-half of the excess shall be paid to the Darbar. The net
18 excess of charges in 1894-95 amounts to Rupees 6,08,712 :—
