8 Notifications relating to cession of Sovereignty over Bhawalpur Railway lands to
9 the British Government,
10 No. 1335-I.P., dated the 14th July, 1879.—In exercise of the power vested in him by Statute 28
11 Vict, cap. 17, section 4, the Governor General in Council ig pleased to declaie that the lands
12 occupied by the Indus Valley State Railway, and the works, premises, and stations Qiereof, within
13 the limits of the Bhawalpur State, which have been ceded to the British Government in full
14 sovereignty by that State, shall be subject to the Lieutenant-Governorship of the Panjab.

16 No. 169-I., dated the 18th July, 1882.—In exercise of the powers vested in him by Statute 28
17 and 29 Vict., cap. 17, section 4, the Governor General in Council is pleased to declure that the lands
18 Occupied by the Indus Valley State Railway, and works, premises, and stations thereof, within the
19 limits of the Bhawalpur State, which have been ceded to the Biitish Government in full
20 sovereignty by that State since the issue of the proclamation by the Government of India, No. 1335

24 No. 1018-I.,, dated the 25th February, 1887.—Whereas His Highness the Nawab of Bhawal-
25 pur, on the 9th July, 1886, ceded to the British Government, in full sovereignty, certain lands which
26 now form part of the Railway Station at Khanpur on the North-Western Railway, the Governor
27 General in Council is pleased, in exercise of the power vested in him by the Statute 28 and 29
28 Vict., cap. 17, section 4, to declare that the lands shall be subject to the Lieutenant-Governorship
29 of the Panjab. ;
